The property is located at the foot of the Los Reales-Sierra Bermeja Natural Park, a protected area with native/endemic forest species such as the Pinsapo. You will also notice that the Sierra Bermeja mountain seems to turn red at twilight, due to the peridotite rocks that offer the characteristic colour. Due to its location on the Costa del Sol, Estepona has great road links to various historic towns and cities. If you are considering some trips out, have a look at Ronda with its famous bullring and gorge, Granada and the Alhambra Palace, Seville with its huge plazas, which was also home to the Expo 92 exhibition. Also, within a 40 minute drive you have the rock of Gibraltar with its famous apes. Do note you will have to clear customs and passport control to enter! Estepona really offers so much, beaches and countryside for relaxing, its location for exploring Andalucia and its climate with over 320 days of sunshine a year!
